Green River Fossil Fish 6 inch Tile Diplo F0170

Beautiful fossil fish from the Eocene Green River Formation in Kemmerer, Wyoming. These fossils are approximately 55 million years old. This square tile features one Diplomystus fish swimming in a right facing direction. This fish tile weighs 1 lb. 12.6 oz. and measures 6 1/16 in. by 6 1/16 in. by 11/16 in. thick. It has wonderful detail and is dark brown on sand colored limestone. These tiles can be used in home decorating projects just like any other stone tiles and they make stunning home accents when combined in groups or combined with other natural materials. This fish would also display nicely on a plate stand or small easel. Picture hangers can be attached to the back or it can be framed for wall hanging.
